Hello, I'm Jessica!

I’m a designer and writer focused on learnability, storytelling, sensemaking, wayfinding, and removing barriers to learning. I am graduating from the Learning Technologies and Design (MS) graduate program and User Experience and Usability graduate certificate at the University of Missouri. I earned my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (Honors) from Rochester University.

I work as an instructional designer on an eLearning team for a small, private university in the Midwest. My prior experiences include an eclectic mix of retail, public libraries, technology, publishing, communications, and small business. I live in Michigan with my husband, son, and cat. I enjoy walking, reading, and listening to music. I am currently writing a novel.
